The bed and breakfast’s location is ideal: close to the wharf, local restaurants, two premiere golf courses and the Confederation Trail. Its proximity to so many gems inspired the future B&B’s name: Stones Throw. The bed and breakfast will have two guest suites with their own private bathrooms and entrance.

We loved our 2 day stay with Darlene and Joe. The lobster package was superb. Best lobster we have eaten. Special treat from Joe, Digby scallops 😋. Darlene is a master baker and cook. Homemade muffins, cookies, granola, potato salad. She made eggs benedict as special request which was delicious.. They shared lots of tips on places to visit. Highly recommend adding lobster package to your stay! 5 +++

We stayed with Darlene and Joe for 4 nights in May, and what a treat! They are the best hosts ever! Everything about the B&B was superb; from the delicious, generous breakfasts, to a tour around town to meet local craftspeople, suggestions on what to visit and where to visit, a scrumptious lobster dinner, with lobster right from the wharf about 50 steps away, I kid you not, everything was out-of-this-world fantastic! Being literally 5-minutes away from the Confederation Bike Trail was a bonus too! Stones Throw B&B is highly recommended, and will NOT disappoint. Thanks for making us feel so welcomed, Darlene & Joe. We’re sure to be back! 😀

This B&B doesn’t treat you like guests; they treat you more like family. Paula and I felt very “at home” in the company of Darlene and Joe. Darlene puts the “home” in home made….her biscuits and potato salad were the perfect companions for the delicious lobster supper we enjoyed on our first night. Her breakfasts were second to none…if you get up from the breakfast table hungry, it’s time for a doctor visit. When you have great food, great company, and very comfortable sleeping arrangements, you don’t really need anything else. If you’re in the Georgetown area I highly recommend you give Darlene and Joe a call. My only regret is that the maximum rating is 5 stars…I’d give it more I could. Thanks so much Darlene and Joe’
