The bed and breakfast’s location is ideal: close to the wharf, local restaurants, two premiere golf courses and the Confederation Trail. Its proximity to so many gems inspired the future B&B’s name: Stones Throw. The bed and breakfast will have two guest suites with their own private bathrooms and entrance.

Loved this Island gem !! Beautiful space with amazing hosts. The home cooked breakfasts were spectacular , accommodations extremely clean , water views , close to great food , many Island attractions and the Confederation Trail . We already have this establishment booked for a return visit to PEI. Thanks for a wonderful stay Joe and Darlene !

A modern B&B with an old school feel that is situated just (literally) a stone’s throw from the local wharf with magnificent sunrises and sunsets as the home is situated in an east/west direction.
Both roomie, well appointed rooms have private entrances which is an added bonus, and yet, both Darlene and Joe welcome you into their home with graciousness…a mi casa es su casa east coast feel.
Darlene is a chef extraordinaire, and will stop at nothing to be sure your tummy is happy!
The Lobster Package is a must do as Joe knows how to cook a lobster to perfection!
There’s a mini fridge and coffee/tea station which is a really nice touch.
Despite being their second season, both Darlene and Joe are well versed and knowledgeable in the places to go and things to do in the area (and not just the tourist spots!)
All in all, Joe and Darlene (and Misty:)) are excellent hosts with impeccable tastes!
I’d return in a heartbeat!

We stayed for 3 nights in July, couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations. Darlene and Joe were very gracious hosts, knowledgeable on the area of must see places, inviting to their home and of course Darlene being a wonderful cook breakfast did not disappoint! This room was missing nothing, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and an eye for detail!!
In the past we have explored all of the island except the east coast so this trip was all about the east coast, went to some great lighthouses, beaches and restaurants. One that we will go back to is Clam Diggers( need reservations) also many local artisan shops bought some jewellery at Shoreline Design, special gift at Kro in The Skye Art Studio and some wonderful creamed honey with cinnamon.
Was a fabulous time and plan to return to Stones Throw B&B for another visit!! Thank you Darlene, Joe and Misty ❤️

If you are looking for a quiet Bed & Breakfast with extremely friendly hosts, and is just a stone’s throw away from beaches, restaurants and activities, this is the place for you.
The rooms are spacious and each with it’s own ensure bathroom. The bedding is extremely comfortable and make for a wonderful sleep.
Breakfast is always delicious and catered to individual diets and needs.
The beaches are great for wildlife – our first day we went for a walk and saw foxes, blue herons, and a blade eagle. Lots of sea glass to collect.
There is so much to do here. I am on my last full day and don’t want to leave. I definitely recommend Stone’s Throw B&B to anyone and everyone looking to visit PEI.

We had a very warm welcome to the Stone Throw B&B. Joe and Darlene make you feel like long lost family. They are great conversationalists and can tell you may interesting things about the east coast that I was unaware of. We had a great conversation with them and the couple from Boston that was staying there as well, felt very comfortable and welcome.
We loved our room, some great east coast decoration touches that really made the room pop! I am a pretty large guy 6’2″ (3Xl) and I found the room spacious for a bed and breakfast. The private bathroom had a good size shower that I felt very comfortable in not cramped like many B&Bs or some hotels/motels. Have a side entrance off the room was great it allowed us the privacy to come and go at all hours without having to enter the main house or disturb anyone else. There was a nice little coffee station that allows you to have a coffee whenever you want which I thought was a welcome little addition to the facilities.
Breakfast was amazing, first we were served a bowl of fresh berries (strawberries & blueberries) and a choice of two different muffins. Next came a very healthy serving of a mushroom & cheese omelet served with your choice of toast. Coffee, tea & juice was also served with the meal. I was quite stuffed when I left. My wife could not finish her entire breakfast and we both enjoy breakfast. Delicious food and great serving sizes!
After breakfast we took a little walk down the street, there are many great little shops with all kind of different arts and craft being created. We took a little visit to Shoreline Designs it was an amazing little Silver shop that does some very cool jewelry amongst other things. Peter and his staff were very welcoming and gave us a tour of their work space to see the magic happen!!
Thanks so much Joe and Darlene for the east coast hospitality, can’t wait to come visit you both again and enjoy that East coast hospitality!!

Thank you Darlene and Joe for making our 2-night stay on the 14/15 July at ‘Stones Throw’ so memorable. The room “Seaglass” was so confortable and the decor so tastefully picked and classy. We hope we could come back again soon to enjoy not only the room and the delicious food but also the exceptional hospitality and company of the hosts and adorable ‘Misty’
Thank you Joe for the ‘seaglass’ adventure!
